The Oregon 4-H Youth Development Program “Inspires Kids to Do” every day.

While the COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to disrupt in-person learning for many youth across the state, Oregon 4-H faculty and staff are working hard to minimize the impact on 4-H youth programing. Now, perhaps more than ever, 4-H’s approach to positive youth development is necessary to enhance, at home learning and provide additional opportunities for all young Oregonians to continue to engage with their peers, mentors, and community. 

This pandemic has revealed, how interconnected we all are. While this connectivity makes us vulnerable to a virus, it also provides the character and meaning to see us through to recovery.

With your help, Oregon 4-H clubs can still meet remotely, 4-H educational and leadership development programing may continue in a virtual environment, and most importantly, our Oregon youth will continue to thrive.
