BEAVERS CARE - COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

OSU engineering students have faced immense challenges from the impact of COVID-19. It has significantly disrupted their lives, resulting in an unexpected financial burden from loss of income, travel expenses, purchase of additional technology, and medical expenses.

Motivated by our students’ needs, the OSU Foundation has partnered with the university to create the College of Engineering Student Emergency Fund. Since the fund’s launch, 450 engineering students in crisis have applied.

We disburse every donation we receive from alumni and friends quickly — thus far, we have allocated $153,000.

To respond to the urgency of these requests and inspire other gifts, several donors who deeply understand the impact on our students stepped up right away. Scott A. Ashford, Kearney Dean of Engineering, other college leaders, and a few generous alumni have personally contributed over $90,000 to launch the fund.

Beaver engineers and friends, please join them and make a gift today.

No contribution is too small. Please spread the word! Your gift and voice will make a difference in Oregon State engineering students’ lives.
